Best shrimp tacos we’ve ever had! Edison’s is such a fun place to go. Their specials are truly amazing. We’ve been here at 10:30pm for dinner and loved it but todays brunch was amazing! One if favorite local spots!
First time dining, and will definitely be back. Just came in for a drink and an appetizer which hit the spot perfectly. Had an espresso martini, and my partner had the lavender blossom and I wanted to chug the whole drink it was so excellent. Had an order of oysters which, Iowa I was very impressed. Lots of late night specials so will definitely be coming back.
Stopped in for the half off food after it gets late, and stayed for the food and the impeccable service from pony tail bartender. The variety of food is worthy, and the draft list is even better. I I got a wide variety of food stuffs, oysters, ceviche, French onion soup, shrimp tacos and whoops, more oysters because you can’t beat them for the price. The flavors are direct but not overpoweringly in your face. They’re balanced and nuanced with helping hands from other spices and whatnots ( like the soy sauce concoction that comes with the oysters ). The French onion soup was the best that I’ve ever had, and again, it’s because of the balance of flavors rather than putting the weight of it all on one particular taste. Happy mouth, happy brain, happy life. Also as someone who’s from out of town, the fact that they have good drinks on draft is a lovely happenstance. I think I might be in love with gastropubs.
My sister and I ate here for lunch yesterday. First time for me. I had the Maine Lobster roll and it was one of the best ones I've ever had. Full of lobster and so fresh! My sister had the Chicken Tortilla Soup and a dozen oysters. She said all was excellent! We had a great waitress and the owner came by and introduced himself (sorry I can't remember names). They also had popcorn that we enjoyed before our meal. This place is a gem and we are lucky to have that fresh seafood in the QCA!
Beautifully decorated for the holiday. Great atmosphere and delicious drinks. Very pricey, but I know thats common anymore. Went with coworkers and we all enjoyed our drinks and appetizers.
You owe it to yourself to check out this amazing gastropub! Fun and comfortable environment, both inside and out. Service was outstanding, knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! The elotes nearly stole the show...I've never had better. Definitely the best lobster roll around, only companion I had was one I had fresh on the coast. We did the warm lobster roll and lobster grilled cheese...both were fantastic. Nice big chunks of lobster from Maine. We also tried the nachos which was an explosion of flavor between the slaw, mango habanero sauce, and pulled pork. I can't recommend this place enough...also be sure to keep an eye out for their fun events and great deals.
We’ve come here multiple times and honestly, everything thing here is amazing! Must try the deviled eggs, crab cakes, and if you love oysters, they make a mean cocktail sauce! Love that you can have a nice place to order drinks, good and unique foods, and watch some football! We also love our waitress, Madeline! She is very attentive, kind, and has come back multiple times to ensure we have everything we need.
Edison’s Is My New Go-To Spot This was one of my first visits to Edison’s, and I can honestly say it won’t be my last. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting, and the service was on point. A huge shoutout to Amanda, who absolutely made the experience. Not only was she friendly, fast, and incredibly attentive, but she was also training a new hire at the same time — and doing it flawlessly. You could tell she really knows her stuff. She handled the bar like a pro while giving the new team member clear guidance and support. It’s rare to see someone deliver top-tier service and train at the same time without missing a beat. The drink menu was impressive — plenty of unique cocktails along with classics done right. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The food menu was just as solid. Great flavors, generous portions, and definitely worth the price. Overall, Edison’s delivers a perfect mix of great service, great drinks, and great food. Amanda deserves major props, and management is lucky to have her. I’m giving this place a full 5 stars and will absolutely be coming back!
So..Edison's is a place to visit if you're hangry? I'm going to have to say YES! Not only do they have an amazing selection of beer and mixed drinks, they have recently moved the food to a Food Truck while they remodel the kitchen to bring you more amazing food selections. The menu runs from land to sea with chicken and lobster items. "Whoa! Lobster you say?", yes and it won't dip into your pocket to prevent you from all the beers you'll want the wait staff bringing to you!. Oh the wait staff, lemme shine a light there. Very prompt, personable, present and persuasive. Busy or not they attend to your needs of liquid or sustenance. I had the new smash burger and have to say it was a SMASH (pun intended). Chef Ramsey would send them to the next level. The fries were seasoned so I didn't have to add my usual salt and pepper additions. Wait, did I talk about the wait staff? I know I did but wow, they'll make the trip worth it. Stop in to see Jewel, Ally, Hannah, Elle, Maggie, Anna, and Aurora for a night you won't want to forget. Oh the food is great! You'll be full and not hate coming back.
